OCT. 2016: Beginning in 2017, the Tomorrow Fund will only support current scholarship recipients in their endeavors to complete their college education and reach graduation. The Fund will be awarding final, multi-year scholarships in 2017 based on funding available and will no longer accept applications from new applicants at this time. We are grateful to the community and especially to the Tomorrow Fund’s many generous donors for their continued support.
Since 2009, the Tomorrow Fund for Hispanic Students has provided college scholarships to immigrant and first-generation Hispanic youth so they can become productive, well-educated members of our society. Nearly $850,000 has been awarded to Hispanic students attending colleges and universities across North Carolina. In no small part due to the financial assistance they have received, Tomorrow Fund recipients have been able to obtain valuable internships and student leadership positions while in college, and many have successfully graduated with their undergraduate degrees. Recent graduates have pursued careers in business, education, community service, and scientific research.
The Tomorrow Fund for Hispanic Students
Mission: The Tomorrow Fund seeks to make higher education more accessible to talented Hispanic and Latino students from lower-income families in North Carolina through scholarships to help these students bridge their financial aid gaps.

“I don’t know of more deserving work going on in North Carolina than that of The Tomorrow Fund for Hispanic Students. While we work for public support for these students, let’s do our part as citizens to give them the opportunities they deserve.” James B. “Jim” Hunt Jr. North Carolina Governor 1977–1985, and 1993–2001
