Hermanas Latinas Circle of Social Mentoring

The Hermanas Latina Circle is a social mentoring program sponsored by The Tomorrow Fund and currently being hosted at Meredith College, embodying the spirit of community and the soul of Latinas. The participating students are all first-generation Latina college students and their mentors are volunteer women, Latina and non-Latina, from the greater Triangle community. Through social mentoring we hope to provide a support system for these young women in order to encourage their success and graduation rates. The mentees and mentors are encouraged to have regular contact and meetings, as well as participate in occasional volunteer projects in our area.

The Hermanas Latinas social mentoring program believes in woman-to-woman social and academic empowerment. Be a part of that empowerment. Be an Hermana Latina today. We encourage any woman – Latina or not – to join us!
